Dark mother, deep endless void,
She who cloaks herself in stars themselves,
We call to you in this, the dead of night,
Beneath your gaze and brilliant light,
And ask that you wrap us in you arms,
Sheltering us from the terrors that lurk in the shadows,
And bring to us the knowledge of the eternal universe.
